The Engineering Campus of the University of Magdeburg brings together the engineering faculties under one roof.

Our goal is to pool resources, simplify workflows, and inspire new students to pursue engineering through innovative projects.

What is an engineer?

Engineers are indispensable to our modern world. Every day, they plan, design, and calculate to develop technologies that make our daily lives more comfortable and efficient.

They work on forward-thinking topics such as digitalisation, climate neutrality, resource conservation, new mobility, and economic working – challenges that make the profession more exciting than ever and open up vast future opportunities.

There is no single "type" of engineer. Whether electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or other disciplines – each field offers unique, fascinating tasks.

Engineers combine theory and practice: they develop concepts, analyse and optimise systems, and bring their ideas to life – in the form of innovative technologies, products, and services.
